Is the shade cloth waterproof?

The PVC material used to manufacture our shade sails is not 100% waterproof. Water will usually run off the cloth depending on the material, its pitch and the intensity of the rainfall. If waterproofing is an important consideration, we recommend you use waterproof fabrics.
Do shade sails fade?

Yes, all shade sails eventually fade and lose their natural colour. Fading is less noticeable in darker colours.
What is motor trimming?

As a trade, Motor Trimmers install, repair, modify, and replace interior fittings of vehicles including seats, upholstery, floor coverings, and armrests. They may work on vehicles such as cars, trucks, buses, caravans, and boats. What products should I use to clean the sails with?

Sugar Soap is perfect for cleaning the cloth, while Wet & Forget is recommended for removing dirt and grime. Conversely, do not use products containing bleach or mould removal elements as this will damage the coating and greatly reduce the lifespan of the sail. Find out more helpful cleaning tips here.
