The PVC material used to manufacture our shade sails is not 100% waterproof. Water will usually run off the cloth depending on the material, its pitch and the intensity of the rainfall. If waterproofing is an important consideration, we recommend you use waterproof fabrics.
Yes, all shade sails eventually fade and lose their natural colour. Fading is less noticeable in darker colours.

Sugar Soap is perfect for cleaning the cloth, while Wet & Forget is recommended for removing dirt and grime.
